9 Flower Essences to Boost Confidence

Having a healthy sense of self-confidence definitely makes life easier. It helps you manage your fears, thereby helping you to seize opportunities and take chances that can change your life in a positive way. It goes hand-hand with self-love, an important trait for health and happiness.

Athletes, business people, speakers, and actors all recognize that their own self-confidence is integral to achieving their best performance. And studies have shown that confidence can be more important romantically than physical attractiveness.

So what is confidence anyway? In it's simplest form, it is knowing what you're good at, what your worth is, and then being able to convey that to others. If you believe that you are less than you are, you're probably missing out on much that life has to offer. This can spill into every area of your life; work, school, relationships and your health.

Let's look at some solutions, and I'll give you an opportunity to get a free flower essence sample to get your confidence level up!

1. Buttercup

helps those who are frequently overlooked to shine forth with full consciousness of their unique gifts and abilities. Buttercup inspires you not to judge yourself based on conventional ideas of achievement, or by comparing yourself to others, but to realize your worth based on who you are, not your outward recognition. This is also a helpful essence for those who are having to step into a phase where by some standards would be considered a "less important" path. Buttercup shows us how we are successful at whatever stage we are at.

2. Elecampagne

helps those who feel out of touch with the general population. It helps you to be comfortable being yourself in social situations and raises self-worth. It brings a stronger sense of individual identity and helps you see the beauty in your own self. If you over-identify with what you see as your flaws, elecampagne can help you transition to a new sense of self.

3. Goldenrod

instills self-trust and confidence especially in those who don't have a strong sense of their individual identity. A key to identifying this type of personality is the individual modifying to fit whoever their present company is. This is a great essence for the teen years when identity is shaky and peer pressure is strong.

4. Harebell

helps those who are having a hard time interacting in group situations. Harebell's lesson is that we are good enough, just as we are, worthy of our Creator's unconditional love and to stop seeking love in wrong places, and compromising who we really are in order to get it.

5. Horseradish

heals feelings of inadequacy, and insecurity. It puts you back in the driver's seat of life. You can move forward and you can change your direction. You'll have to take some responsibility for your situation, but Horseradish will build you up, fire you up and move you out of your current rut in life by dislodging fear, low self-esteem and blame-shifting.

6. Hyssop

addresses guilt and shame based issues and all their cousins: Self-sabotage, self-blame, fear of being judged, perfectionism and unworthiness. Hyssop works within those structures of thinking we have created, to reverse that internal judgement and self-condemnation we fall into.

7. Missouri Primrose

is for those who have trouble receiving the good in life because negative emotions like guilt, self-sabotage or feeling unworthy get in the way. Missouri Primrose can reach back to your childhood where your sense of self-worth was being shaped, and let go of ideas that have been imprinted that you are not deserving.

8. Sunflower

helps where insecurity comes across as pride, when the person continually tries to convince others of their value. Sunflower is corrective of either insecurity or pride, bringing the person into balance of who they are in the grand scheme of things. Sunflower's message is that the show that it puts on for others doesn't mean a thing, all that matters are it's seeds, when it humbly bows it's head in service. It helps us recognize and appreciate our gifts while also recognizing those around us, and accept our shortcomings without shame. Sunflower also brings a greater understanding regarding our relationship with our fathers. When we grow up with a conflicted relationship, or lack of relationship, to our fathers, it plays into self-esteem issues. We also tend to project the natural relationship we had with our fathers onto how we see God. None of us have had perfect fathers in the natural, our issues may cause a block in our ability to receive from the Father who is perfect.

9. Trumpet Vine

assists in speaking with confidence and fluidity, broadcasting your personality through a megaphone and an ability to play off others with a dynamic back and forth banter. Trumpet Vine helps with intimidation and shyness, may help with speech impediments or those who are trying to learn a new language.

Other Confidence Builders

Let go of the things you're bad at.

Conventional thinking says you need to work on those things so you'll get better, thereby increasing your confidence. I would say that focusing on your faults is the wrong way to go. We can't all be good at everything. Those areas that we are struggling in, are energy drains and may have you feeling bad for not measuring up. Unless you have a really strong need to work on an area that is a huge challenge for you, I would say you need to find what you are good at, what you love to do, and become a master of that! You'll build confidence that will spill over into other areas of your life.

Work out:

Feeling strong and healthy is awesome and the endorphin release isn't bad either. Your size should not be a factor in your confidence, but consistent exercise can change things you don't like about your body.

Look like you care:
Having your look together makes you feel better about yourself and whether you want to admit it or not, people judge based on looks. If you look like someone who takes care of themselves and you appear "put together" people treat you better. It's an instant confidence builder.

No matter what area of your life you need extra confidence in, flower essences can help you. Our basic Confidence blend is great, but if you need really specialized help, we can whip you up a custom combo!

Seneca

Founder of Freedom Flowers, Seneca has a strong understanding of frequencies found in nature and how they bring healing to the spiritual, emotional and thus, the physical body. She understands that humanity often shuts down in defense of pain or violation, and she knows what to offer to “unlock” areas that have become dormant over time. Seneca has a burning desire to bring healing to our issues in a gentle and natural way.
